Customers should return the wheelchair in the same condition in which it was received, together with the battery, charger, controller, cushions, accessories, manuals, packaging and all supplied components.
The wheelchair may be inspected only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function. We recommend testing indoors on a clean, dry and level surface.
If the wheelchair is returned with signs of use or handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining the product, GICS-UK may make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect the genuine reduction in resale value.
Examples may include:
Outdoor use or travelled mileage
Dirt, mud, tyre wear or wheel damage
New scratches, dents or impact marks
Stains, odours or damage to cushions
Missing accessories, manuals or components
Missing or severely damaged packaging
Damage caused by incorrect folding or return packing

Any deduction will be based on the condition of the returned wheelchair and the actual loss in resale value. Photographs, inspection findings and supporting evidence may be used when assessing the deduction.
Where permitted by eBay’s return process, the deduction may be up to 50% of the item price if the wheelchair is returned used, damaged, incomplete or materially reduced in value.
No diminished-value deduction will be made where the return is accepted because the wheelchair was faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied or materially different from the listing description, unless additional damage occurred after delivery.
