Historical Provenance & Maker Details:The back of the apron flap features its original, authentic cloth tag from the historic tailors Toye & Co. Ltd. (listing their prominent hubs in London, Liverpool, Manchester, Portsmouth, and Bromley). Because the company traded specifically as "Toye & Co Ltd" between 1925 and 1961 (before becoming Toye, Kenning & Spencer), this piece can be reliably dated to this era. It also includes the manufacturer’s original purple ink stamp branding it from their high-quality "Doric" line.
