2007 Porsche Boxster S 3.4
Meteor Grey Metallic | Black extended leather
Naturally aspirated flat-six | 6-speed manual
MOT until 13 September 2027
I’m selling my Boxster S after just under three years of ownership. I purchased the car in October 2023 at 66,919 miles and have covered approximately 7,700 miles during my ownership.
Before purchasing it, I commissioned a comprehensive independent pre-purchase inspection by Nick Giles Independent Vehicle Inspections. That detailed report remains with the car, alongside the original service book and an extensive collection of supporting invoices.
The car has just received its latest service at Bahnsport Modern Porsche Specialists, along with replacement of both air-conditioning condensers and regassing of the system, followed by a fresh MOT.
No warning lights • Drives like it's just come out of the factory • Roof operates correctly and is watertight
The car has its original service book together with a substantial supporting invoice file.
Maintenance has been carried out by Porsche main dealers and respected independent Porsche specialists, including Porsche Centre Solihull, Cotswold Porsche Specialists and Bahnsport.
Recorded service history:

The history documents considerably more than routine oil changes, including major servicing, spark plugs, drive belt, brake-fluid changes, coolant pipe work, geometry/alignment and other age-related maintenance.
When I purchased the car in October 2023, I commissioned a detailed independent inspection by Nick Giles Independent Vehicle Inspections at 66,919 miles.
The inspection covered the bodywork, roof, interior, wheels and tyres, underbody, mechanical components and diagnostic systems, followed by a full road test.
The complete inspection report accompanies the car and provides a useful independent record of its condition when I bought it.
The car presents extremely well for its age and mileage, and the interior in particular has worn very well.
It drives like it has just come off the factory floor, everything feels taught like it ought to. The electric roof operates correctly and is watertight. There are no warning lights.
It is nevertheless a 19-year-old Porsche rather than a concours car, and I would rather be completely transparent about its condition.
The driver's-side front wing received a localised repair prior to my ownership and has some faint cracking/crazing to the paint around the wheel-arch edge. This was already documented by the independent inspector when I purchased the car in 2023.
There are also minor age-related bodywork marks and some cosmetic wear to the alloy wheels.
The latest Porsche-specialist inspection noted some age-related items, including corrosion to the exhaust flange fixings, slight corrosion to a rear brake line, rear lower-arm inner bushes beginning to deteriorate, corrosion to the front shock-absorber stations/perished bump stops, and an oil leak/misting around the engine/gearbox area.
None of these prevents the car driving normally and it has just passed its MOT.
I have deliberately disclosed these observations rather than describing a 19-year-old Porsche as faultless.
The 987 generation offers a combination that has largely disappeared from modern sports cars: a naturally aspirated flat-six, hydraulic steering and a proper 6-speed manual gearbox, in a relatively compact and usable package.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed owning the car and have continued to maintain it properly during my ownership. It’s now time for somebody else to enjoy it. Please note mileage will increase slightly as car is in use.
