A direct compatible hinge, all holes matching Smart Architectural Hardware
Common questions
What is it?
A hinge designed to work in a bifold configuration. Made from aluminium, so it is totally weatherproof — which is why it has found its way into many other uses too, such as stable doors, opening roof vents and even very thin profiled doors.
| Door configuration | Number of panels | Total single hinges |
|---|---|---|
| 3-panel door (all folding one way) | 3 panels | 9 to 11 hinges |
| 4-panel door (all folding one way) | 4 panels | 12 to 15 hinges |
| 5-panel door (all folding one way) | 5 panels | 15 to 19 hinges |
Will it fit my doors?
It is made for Smart Visofold 1000 bifolding doors, profiles DV28, DV29, DV23 and DV26. The hole spacing is on the drawing.
