Large Vintage Portuguese Filigree White Metal Oval Pendant

A particularly attractive large vintage filigree pendant of oval form, finely constructed with intricate scrolling and leaf-shaped wirework throughout.

The pendant has a decorative scalloped outer border surrounding an elaborate central openwork design, giving it a very light and delicate appearance despite its generous size.

The style and construction are strongly characteristic of traditional Portuguese filigree jewellery, and Portugal has therefore been selected as the country of origin.

The metal is unmarked, so it is being described conservatively as white metal rather than silver.
