Celebrate Clydebank’s shipbuilding heritage with this 80mm embroidered patch. The design features a ship with a black and red hull supported in a shipyard, flanked by cranes against the Scottish Saltire. Blue water, white CLYDEBANK SHIP BUILDING lettering and a black circular border complete the design.

These patches are embroidered to order, rather than being mass-produced stock. Please allow up to 3 working days for us to manufacture your patch before dispatch.

Iron-On Instructions

1. Make sure the garment is clean, dry and suitable for ironing.
2. Place the patch in the required position with the embroidered side facing upwards.
3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton cloth or pressing cloth.
4. Set your iron to a medium/high heat setting with NO STEAM.
5. Press firmly over the patch for approximately 20–30 seconds. Do not move the iron backwards and forwards.
6. If possible, turn the garment inside out and press the reverse side of the patch for a further 20–30 seconds.
7. Allow the patch to cool completely before checking the bond.
8. Repeat briefly if necessary.

For items that will be washed frequently, or for extra security, we recommend adding a few stitches around the edge of the patch after ironing.

Important: Some synthetic, waterproof, coated or heat-sensitive fabrics may not be suitable for ironing. Always check the garment manufacturer's care instructions first. If in doubt, sew the patch on instead.
