Antique 1800s Dr. Scott's Electric Flesh Brush Quackery Device. Has all of its bristles and is in excellent condition for its age. Some minimal soiling.
Features the word "ELECTRIC" across the top and the phrase "The Germ Of All Life Is Electricity" stamped on the reverse or casing. Marketed by businessman George Scott as a cure-all health device. It was claimed to generate a healing galvanic or magnetic current when brushed against the skin, though it contained only a simple magnet or standard bristles with no actual electrical power.
Comes from the Barber shop collection of Lester Dequaine.
