Bound in calf leather binding with marbled paper to boards, raised banding and gilt lettering to spine.

In good condition.

Some rubbing and handling marks etc. Boards off, chipped on spine ends. Lacks frontis and main title page. Plate at p24 torn. Tear to Map of Carlyle. Some minor foxing spots and handling marks.
Else pages clean and tight.
Else a very good clean and tight copy.
