The front label displays clear text alongside the prominent Burroughs Wellcome and Co. London imprint, accompanied by global office locations including New York, Montreal, Sydney, Cape Town, Milan, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, and Bombay. Additional side warning print reads Poison in vertical text.
The reverse retains its original supplementary paper label citing the Poisons and Pharmacy Act 1908 alongside specific product strength metrics, including anhydrous morphine content per tablet and Poison Schedule Part 1 classifications.
The glass bottle features an oval cross-section, a distinct rolled lip, and embossed lettering on the base reading Wellcome Chemical Works.
It stands approximately two inches in height. The paper labels display age-appropriate toning, light edge wear, and faint staining while remaining exceptionally legible throughout.
