A sculpted nutcracker-head mug from FAO Schwarz, made under license by Galerie. It has a red-and-gold harlequin hat band, a gold brim and a gold handle printed with the F·A·O logo. It comes in its original clear retail display box.
Pre-owned. The hat band has several spots where the red and gold finish has flaked or rubbed off, showing white ceramic underneath (see close-up photos). There is also a small chip in the red finish at the rim above the handle, a small grey mark on the handle, a couple of tiny dark specks in the white glaze, and light scuffs on the bottom foot ring. The display box has tape at the seams, scuffing, and a torn corner on the top label. Please see all photos.
