Condition: Pens: Very nice condition, consistent with their age. Some pens are unused and unsharpened in their original factory condition; others have been lightly used or historically sharpened (please refer to the detailed close-up photos for exact lengths and the condition of the leads).

Accessories: The two historic metal caps (on the Mars-Lumograph and the cap with an eyelet on the Model X 1401) fit securely, are removable, and feature a beautiful, authentic patina of age.

Box: Original Faber-Castell box. The absolute highlight is the clean paper inlay on the inside lid, perfectly preserved, featuring the historic “Explanation of the Hardness Grades of the Finest A.W. Faber-Castell Pencils” as well as the original “Caution!” warning against counterfeits.
