Offered here is an original copy of A Taliesin Square-Paper No. 15, one of the scarce and highly collectible publications issued by Frank Lloyd Wright through the Taliesin Fellowship. The celebrated Taliesin Square-Papers were published intermittently between 1941 and 1953 and served as Wright's personal platform for discussing architecture, democracy, education, society, culture, and Organic Architecture.
Issue No. 15, published in January 1951, centers on Wright's thoughts concerning democracy and civic culture and was issued in conjunction with his Italian Exhibition. The text reprints Wright's foreword to When Democracy Builds, expressing his views on the cultural life, values, and future of democratic society.
The cover bears the well-known Taliesin Square-Paper declaration:
"A free fearless enlightened minority is the conscience of a democratic nation. When this is stifled, democracy is gone from the life of the nation."
As one of only sixteen Taliesin Square-Papers issued during Wright's lifetime, No. 15 remains highly desirable among collectors of Frank Lloyd Wright material, architectural ephemera, and twentieth-century design history.

There is light age toning and darkening visible along the upper edge of the cover, consistent with a publication of this age. Minor handling and storage wear may be present, but no significant losses, repairs, or structural issues were noted.
