Offered here is an original copy of A Taliesin Square-Paper No. 9, "Nature", one of the scarce and highly collectible publications written and issued by Frank Lloyd Wright through the Taliesin Fellowship. The celebrated Taliesin Square-Papers were published intermittently between 1941 and 1953 and served as Wright's personal forum for expressing his thoughts on architecture, democracy, education, society, Organic Architecture, and mankind's relationship with the natural world.
Issue No. 9 addresses one of Wright's most enduring themes: Nature. Throughout his career, Wright maintained that true architecture must grow naturally from its environment and exist in harmony with the landscape rather than in opposition to it. These ideas would become central to his philosophy of Organic Architecture and remain among his most influential contributions to modern architectural thought.
The Taliesin Square-Papers are increasingly sought after by collectors because they offer a direct connection to Wright's own writings and philosophy during the later years of his career. Unlike books published after the fact, these publications were contemporary statements issued through Wright's Taliesin organization and distributed in relatively limited numbers.
