IMPACT CUTLERY

Model # 8530 – Kingsblue | By Impact Cutlery UK
Only one knife made.

Kingsblue is a commanding handmade Bowie built around a sweeping 8.80-inch blade with a pronounced recurved profile, long tapered point and clean satin finish. The substantial 5.50 mm D2 tool-steel blade gives the knife a strong, purposeful presence, while the deep royal-blue resin handle is shaped with pronounced finger contours for a secure grip. A highly polished metal guard sweeps forward and rearward around the ricasso, while the polished rear butt cap completes the handle with a refined contrast against the vivid blue resin.

Kingsblue is sharp, solidly built, and made for real use.

The knife is supplied with a dark brown handmade leather sheath weighing approximately 130 grams, finished with contrasting stitching, a secure retention strap and belt-carry provision.

The knife comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity, Impact Cutlery Lifetime Warranty Card, and business card.

Lifetime Warranty – Terms & Conditions

Please note: Lifetime warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.

Normal wear includes blemishes, tarnish, rust, scratches, blade chips, broken tips, edge dings, and dents. Impact knives are not designed to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. Damage caused by misuse or accidental impact is excluded, but may be repairable for a reasonable fee.

Natural materials—such as bone, horn, or wood—may crack, shrink, or develop other changes over time due to temperature, climate, and age; these are not covered under the lifetime warranty. No knife maker can guarantee against the natural aging of organic materials.

Rust is not covered under the Impact lifetime warranty. Proper care and maintenance are essential.

Care of Your Fine Custom Knife
  1. Never store the knife in a leather sheath.
  2. Never leave the knife wet.
  3. Apply oil/wax after use and before storing.
  4. If rust appears, use 0000 steel wool with oil to clean it off; metal polish can also be used.
  5. Never put the knife in a dishwasher.
  6. Keep the guard, bolsters, and butt caps oiled/waxed.
  7. Keep it sharp — a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife.
  8. Store in a dry place.
  9. Don’t try to repair a damaged knife yourself. Send it to us and we’ll do our best to make it as good as new.

If you plan heavy-duty use, let us know when ordering a custom knife so we can shape the blade and bevel accordingly. Knives in auctions are not subject to alterations; suggestions can be made for fixed-price listings.

Age Restriction

We do not sell knives to persons under the age of 18. By placing a bid or order with our store, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase such items. We rely on your confirmation and accept no liability if this representation is found to be false.
