German Fuel Tanker Truck

The Ford COE (cab over engine) truck was introduced in May 1938 in response to a greater requirement for larger vehicles, including tractor-trailers, while also restricting the length of vehicles under law and becaue of increasingly crowded streets. The chassis was 134 inches but provided the same cargo space as a conventional chassis of 157 inches. In early 1939 a COE Fuel Tanker was produced in the Netherlands. A number of these vehicles fell into German hands following the campaigns of 1940 in Western Europe.

This kit depicts a Ford COE tanker truck m.1939 in service with the Luftwaffe.

Includes photo-etched parts and decals.

Whether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a classic. Not to be missed.
