Mars 1/72 WWII German Paratroopers in Winter Uniforms

20mm Scale

Brand new.

Ref No. : MAR72121

The contents include 40 figures in 8 separate poses and provide a nice collection of WWII German Fallschirmjager in winter gear. The number of each pose is shown in brackets.

Following the Invasion of Crete in 1941, German Paratroopers largely fought as elite infantry units.

The collection includes one riflemen standing firing an FG42 assault rifle (8), one firing an StG 44 from the shoulder (8) and two with Gew 41 semi automatic rifles - one firing from the chest with a Panzerfaust slung on his back (4) and the other advancing with his weapon ready (4). There is a soldier standing firing a magazine fed MG42 (4) and a soldier standing firing a Panzerschreck (4). The last two figures are a radio man with a pistol drawn (4) and an officer with a MP40 looking through binoculars (4).

Uniforms are quilted jackets and one with a jump smock with most having standard Paratrooper helmets. Two figures have a peaked cap.

There is a review of these figures on the Plastic Soldier Review website.

Moulded in medium plastic, the kit  gives a lovely set for wargaming or a diorama.
