The salt has a chip on the bottom and can't be seen unless you pick it up and turn it over--both shakers have plastic stoppers--the dogwood flowers are raised and in perfect shape and altho they look dirty in the pics there are not...that is the way they are painted--they are 3" tall and on the light weight side @ only 2.4oz--
