BOB DYLAN - INFIDELS 1983 US PROMO (Gold Stamp) First Pressing Copy Co-produced by Bob Dylan and Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler, 1983’s Infidels marked Dylan's return to secular songwriting following his trio of gospel-focused releases. Recorded at New York's Power Station, the album features an all-star backing group, including former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor alongside the reggae rhythm section of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare. Yielding critical and commercial highlights such as "Jokerman," "Sweetheart Like You," "License To Kill," and "I And I," Infidels remains one of Dylan's most acclaimed 1980s studio efforts. 1983 US release by Columbia, catalog # QC 38819, barcode #07464388191. PROMOTIONAL Gold Stamp copy of First Pressing. Manufactured at Pitman Plant. Sleeve grades VG+. Intact spine/seams, good color/gloss, good corners lightly dinged, minor edgewear. Some finish wear on front along with minor ring wear at top. Back is excellent, close to NM. Gold PROMO stamp in upper right back corner. Original custom inner sleeve included. Vinyl grades VG+. Play tested with no issues. Flat/clean red Columbia 1-eye labels from era. Very clean vinyl surface with just a couple light marks/hairlines under magnification.
