A Lovely, Rare, 1st Edition Copy of The Chinese Theater by A.E. Zucker, Published in 1925. A beautifully-bound book in red-gold fabric, with several hand-painted illustrations, as well as historical photos.
Originally, this book was part of the Portland Art Museum's amazing reference library (sadly now closed) - which opened in 1892 with the Portland Art Association, and over the next 100 years amassed an incredible collection of rare art books for the use of local artists, art students, educators, and art dealers.
As an ex-library book, it has some small library markings and signs of wear from age and use (see photos for details).
