Up for sale is a classic Vintage Seiko SilverWave Z 7546-6050 Quartz Sports Diver, produced in February 1978.
This watch was fully serviced in May 2026. During service, the watch received a brand new aftermarket crystal, as well as new caseback and crown gaskets. All other components, including the movement, hands, dial, and bracelet, remain original.
Movement: Ultra-reliable 4-jewel Seiko 7546 quartz movement, keeping accurate time.
Dial & Hands: Beautiful dark grey/black dial with bold vintage geometric hour markers and Kanji/English day-date display at 3 o'clock.
Bezel: Original bi-directional rotating friction bezel showing minor honest wear, adding authentic vintage character.
Case & Crown: All-stainless-steel case with standard surface scratches appropriate for its age. Features a offset screw-down crown at the 4 o'clock position.
Crystal: Brand new aftermarket crystal installed in May 2026 — crystal clear with no scratches.
Gaskets: Freshly replaced caseback and crown gaskets (May 2026).
Bracelet: Comes mounted on its original Seiko-signed stainless steel bracelet with original end links.
Functional: Running excellently and keeping precise quartz time. Quickset day/date functions work smoothly.
Cosmetic: Case, bezel, and original bracelet show typical scratches and light wear consistent with a vintage timepiece from the late 1970s. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition.
Note: While new gaskets were fitted during service, vintage water resistance is not guaranteed. Pressure testing is recommended prior to swimming or water exposure.
