3.1" Charoite tumble polished palm stone from Yakutia, Russia.  This aesthetic stone is Charoite, a rare mineral with glorious purple color and unique patterns of swirls, feathers and needles through the stone.  The Charoite deposit located in the Murun Mountains in Yakutia, Russia is the only location in the world where this material is found.  First discovered by Russian geologist in the 1950's, the name Charoite was confirmed by the Commission on New Mineral Species in 1978.  Charoite is said to be the stone of the spirit.  The piece is tumble polished for a smooth finish around the piece.  This palm stone is great for use in metaphysical crystal healing, as a collection, study, or display piece, or as a pocket or worry stone.
