This is a classic "009 Style" mechanical (centrifugal) advance distributor made specifically for the air-cooled Volkswagen engines. Originally established by Bosch, this replacement component layout is now manufactured as a high-quality aftermarket product.
Engine Displacement Compatibility
As long as the engine has a standard upright orientation, these units fit all configurations, including 1200cc, 1300cc, 1500cc, 1600cc, and larger dual-port performance stroker engines.
