Tokai Talbo Platinum Black Wilkinson '14 Limited Upgrade "LAZER-GUN Special Mod"
The "Talbo" is an innovative guitar that burst onto the scene in 1983, featuring a cast aluminum body rather than the traditional wood construction.
This specific unit is a 2014 model originally modified by Ikebe Gakki with a "Laser Gun" effect and a Wilkinson bridge; it has undergone further modification by Ikebe Gakki with the addition of a kill switch.
It shares the same specifications as the high-end models from "Talbo Secret Factory" (the brand's custom shop equivalent)—specifically, the absence of the "Tokai" logo on the headstock and the omission of string trees.
This modified model allows for performance techniques similar to those used by HISASHI (of the band GLAY).
The aluminum body is the Talbo's defining characteristic, offering a speed of attack and response that differs distinctly from wooden instruments.
It delivers a clear picking attack and a tight low end, combined with harmonics and a metallic shimmer in the high-frequency and presence ranges.
Because vibration energy is efficiently retained, the instrument produces beautiful, clean sustain with minimal loss.
The inclusion of a kill switch button also expands the range of expressive performance possibilities.
A selector switch allows you to toggle between the kill switch function and the "Laser Gun" effect.
When the Laser Gun mode is active, five red LEDs flash while the laser gun sound effect plays.

The neck is almost perfectly straight.
There are some scratches from use and dullness on the hardware due to aging.
