Basic functions tested and working, with the unit powering on normally, all four channels passing audio to the master output, and the EQ knobs, channel faders, crossfader and built-in effects responding correctly. Cosmetically this is a well-used professional mixer showing scratches, scuffs and light paint wear across the black chassis and around the panel edges, with some grime around the knobs and faders and yellowing and staining on the caution label on the bottom of the unit. Serial: RE3906415YE, manufactured May 1997. The DJM-500 remains a classic four-channel Pioneer club mixer with three phono inputs, an auto BPM counter and a built-in digital effects section offering delay, echo, auto pan, flanger, reverb, pitch, filter and send/return.
