This is one volume from a handicraft textbook series published in the mid-Showa period. Supervised by popular designer Ilse Brassi, it collects embroidery stitches counted on fabric threads. Techniques such as Gobelin embroidery, Fil-Stitch, Renaissance Stitch, and Knopp Stitch are explained with illustrations and photographs. The latter half of the book provides a guide to hand weaving. The internal pages are generally in good condition. The book is monochrome.
The cover has some minor scuffs and slight soiling.
