disbound, missing end papers, title etc., first page as shown, possibly missing last of index at the back, a couple of holes, small creasing, some browning, block intact, pretty good for its age inside, 

as to its age, dates I've found on the letters, epistres, latest was in the 1620's, I haven't found any later dates but I've only briefly looked through, feels to me that it's from the early 1600's, happy to answer any queries, and any help in establishing its publication date would be much appreciated. I noticed the introduction page pic.9 differs from a 1648 edition seen on Abe..
