Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson was an American military officer and pulp magazine writer. He pioneered the American comic book industry when he published the first such periodical consisting solely of original material rather than reprints of newspaper comic strips. He launched the magazine comics company National Allied Publications in 1935, which would evolve to become DC Comics.
The article evaluates the capabilities of America's World War II weapons, comparing U.S. tanks, aircraft, artillery, warships, and infantry arms with those of the Axis powers.
