Up for grabs is an incredibly rare, authentic, piece of British punk history. This is an original late 1980s tour shirt for The Damned, purchased directly by myself at that gig during one of the band’s infamous "final" farewell shows before one of their early splits (the Final Damnation era).
This shirt is very heavily worn, and features the ultimate authentic punk rock aesthetic. Please review the condition details below carefully before bidding.
The Design:
- Front Print: Vibrant, full-colour cartoon-style graphic featuring the band playing instruments in a graveyard.
- Back Print: A matching cartoon design of the band with the text 'fuct off' printed underneath in distinct gothic lettering.
Condition & Wear (Thrashed/Distressed Punk Style):
- Cuts: The neckband and both sleeves have been completely cut off, turning this into a classic sleeveless muscle tee style.
- Graphics: The front and back prints show heavy, authentic cracking and aging, giving it a true vintage look.
- Fabric: Very used condition with multiple marks, fading, and staining consistent with decades of wear and mosh pits.
Measurements (Laid Flat):
- Neckhole: 10" / 25cm
- Armhole to armhole: 16" / 41cm
- Widest Point: 20" inches / 50cm
- Length (Top of shoulder to bottom hem): 25" / 66cm
This is a true survivor from a legendary era of the band. Perfect for collectors of vintage punk rock apparel, fans of The Damned, or anyone looking for a genuinely thrashed 80s look.
