Vintage painted cast iron doorstop depicting two ducks beside a pond, with one duck standing and the second feeding. A substantial and characterful decorative piece with an attractive heavily aged rustic finish, suitable as a traditional doorstop or display piece.

The casting closely resembles the well-known Hubley No. 291 Two Ducks pattern; however, no maker's mark or model number has been identified, therefore it is being sold as unbranded with no maker attribution guaranteed.

The painted surface has extensive age-related wear, surface rust, discolouration and paint loss throughout, giving it a very rustic appearance. The reverse is hollow cast as photographed. No obvious major breaks are visible, but please inspect all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
