Handmade prayer beads made recently from vintage Soviet USSR Bakelite door handles.

The original Bakelite material dates from the Soviet era, while the prayer beads themselves are newly made. Old door handles were cut, shaped and polished into large individual beads, preserving the beautiful original marbled patterns of the vintage Bakelite.

The beads display striking cream, ivory, gray, blue and black swirling patterns. Each bead is unique.
