Because of the size of the DLT-19, the rifle is designed to separate into two main halves, making it considerably easier to transport and store when not on display.
The two sections are joined using an internal aluminium joining tube and secured with 5 × M3 bolts.
The joining system uses a metal-on-metal connection, rather than relying on printed plastic threads or clips, resulting in an extremely solid and secure connection once assembled. When the five bolts are installed, the two halves lock together very firmly while still allowing the rifle to be separated again when required.
The bipod isn't simply a fixed decorative piece.
It features a spring-loaded clamping mechanism combined with magnets, allowing the bipod to actuate and lock into position while still retaining the appearance and functionality of the original design.

While the DLT-19 is constructed to be sturdy and the aluminium joining system makes the centre connection particularly strong, this is still a large, handmade 3D printed display prop and definitely NOT a toy.
It can certainly handle the occasional bump associated with normal handling, transport, cosplay or display use. However, repeated drops, rough handling or falls from significant heights are not recommended.
At approximately 1.22 metres long and 2 kg, there is simply a lot of leverage involved if something this large hits the floor.
Treat it like a proper collector prop and it should serve you very well.
This is a 3D printed prop replica only. It is completely non-functional and cannot fire, chamber or be modified to fire anything.
Every DLT-19 is printed, assembled, finished and weathered by hand. Because of the 3D printing and hand-finishing process, small layer lines, minor surface marks or slight variations in the finish may be present.
That's part of owning a handmade prop rather than mass-produced factory nonsense.
