" The Invisible Man " is a Soviet feature film based on the novel of the same name and the short story " The Magic Shop " by H.G. Wells .
It was released nationwide in July 1985, and was seen by 14 million viewers in its first month. According to the final ratings of the magazine " Soviet Screen, " it took second place in the "Best Film" category .
