Contax Zeiss AEJ 50mm f/1.4 Prime Lens - C/Y Mount

This lens is clean and working, but infinity focus is slightly off, and the aperture sticks at times. Read below.

Condition

  • Lens is very clean overall
  • No haze, no fungus, minimal dust, aperture blades free from oil
  • Focus is smooth, and aperture snappy
  • *When mounted to a Contax camera body, the lens is slightly off at infinity focus—it won't quite reach infinity
  • **The aperture stops down, but is intermittent—sometimes the blades stop around 5.6, other times they go all the way. Pushing the tab on the bottom releases them back to normal
  • This lens will need a service to work as intended. This is reflected in the price.
