Here are two vintage wood clarinets. The one on the left is a Selmer from the year 1945 or so based on the serial number. The one on the right is a Conn director… Not sure of the age of this one.

The Selmer does not play currently. It is in need of a refurbishment/repad. Totally worth it! I don’t see any cracks, and I bet if this were squared away by a woodwind technician, this clarinet would sing.

I was able to get a few notes out of the Conn but the situation is similar to the Selmer. Again, no cracks.

The mouthpieces that come with these are both Noblet. One of them needs to be recorked. By the way, be careful of the barrel that comes with the Selmer as it’s quite small and diameter for most mouthpieces.

The cases secures the instruments reasonably well. We will ship carefully and safely.
