AS IS fixer upper!! 1940s Mode O Day cold rayon (I think) blue and black floral print dress. The closure is not typical, there is a hook and eye on the side but rather then an opening it's like a pocket. You could convert it to a zipper and use the fabric pocket for repairs.
Condition
There is heavy fading throughout but most noticeably on the lower half of the waist seam and on the shoulders and sleeves. There are holes under one of the collar flaps and a hole on the top side of the same flap. Right below the collar flap, by the top button hole is another hole. On the sleeves of the same side there are more small holes. On that same side of the dress, where the side and waist seam meet, the seam needs repaired. The waist seam on the opposite side has a poor repair and under it, in the skirt, is another seam to be repaired. There are small runs and abrasions throughout. The armpits have minor yellowing.
I will say with how busy the pattern is I think this dress can be saved and cherished.
