Offered is a 2000 Republic of Liberia $10 commemorative coin honoring the First Man on the Moon and the historic Apollo XI lunar mission.
This is the copper-nickel version, not the silver issue.
The reverse features an astronaut standing on the lunar surface beside the American flag, with the inscriptions “FIRST MAN ON THE MOON” and “MISSION APOLLO XI.” The obverse displays the Republic of Liberia coat of arms, the national motto “THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE,” the 2000 date, and $10 denomination.
