MEGALODON is an extraordinary three-dimensional copper collectible inspired by the gigantic prehistoric shark that once dominated the world’s oceans. Crafted from an impressive 5 Troy Oz of .999 fine Copper, this sculptural release recreates the unmistakable shape of a massive Megalodon tooth in exceptional detail.
Rather than following the traditional round format of a coin or medal, this piece has been created as a fully shaped 3D collectible, giving it the appearance and presence of an ancient fossil transformed into metal.
The front reproduces the characteristic anatomy of a Megalodon tooth, with an imposing triangular form, broad root and sharply defined cutting edges. The sides of the blade display a succession of carefully sculpted serrations, while the central surface features deep linear textures that emphasize the immense cutting power associated with this legendary predator.
The upper root area is rendered with a rugged, irregular texture reminiscent of fossilized material. The contrasting highlights and darker recessed areas created by the Antiqued Finish enhance every crack, ridge and surface irregularity, giving the piece a remarkably aged and archaeological appearance.
The reverse continues the fossil-inspired aesthetic with a darker and more heavily textured surface. At the centre appear the inscriptions:
