1975 SEALED La Onda Chicana de BARRERA S/T ANC-888 M Anahuac Records Latin Soul

La Onda Chicana de Barrera is a 1975 self-titled Latin/funk-soul album by Barrera, released on Anahuac Records. It runs about 34 minutes and includes 12 tracks, featuring a mix of Chicano-era styles such as bolero, cumbia, and ranchera. The album’s title points to the broader “La Onda Chicana” movement, often described as Chicano soul: a blend of traditional Mexican music with soul and funk influences. That gives the record a culturally rooted but groove-driven sound. 

The cardboard sleeve is sealed in its original factory shrink plastic, showing age-related wrinkling, scuffing, and minor edge wear/openings. The jacket presents beautifully and is well preserved beneath the shrinkage. There is some light wear on the exposed corner. Record, labels, matrix numbers, inner sleeve, and inserts are unverified because the album has not yet been opened.
