We have just received a 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue.
It features a "Dirty Lemon Burst" finish, evoking the look of a vintage instrument that has lost its original red hue—a highly popular and realistic color choice often seen on authentic vintage models.
This guitar commands attention with its stunning appearance, featuring a combination of clean flat grain and wide, intensely shimmering flame maple figuring that covers the entire body.
The flame pattern, with its rich variations in light and dark, shifts dramatically depending on the viewing angle and lighting, creating a deep, captivating look that never grows tiresome.
The VOS finish offers a pleasing, soft luster.
It utilizes meticulously selected "True Historic" parts—refined in recent years—to faithfully replicate the authentic texture and feel of the originals.
It is equipped with Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups.
Highly acclaimed as P.A.F. clones, these pickups feature a lower output that vividly captures the nuances of your picking technique; the recent unpotted versions, in particular, are highly sought after even as standalone replacement parts.
Weighing in at 4.04kg, it falls within the standard weight range, yet its excellent balance makes it feel lighter than the numbers suggest when held.
The back of the body features a striking "Cherry" color achieved with aniline dye.
