Design
McCall 355 offers a full wardrobe cut in thirty-four pieces plus one embroidery transfer: a tasseled tie-belt bath robe with embroidered pockets, simple pajamas, a collared coat with matching cap, a button-front dress with lace-edged contrast collar, and a dress and bonnet trimmed in embroidery and lace, plus a separate combination slip. Embroidery on Views A, B, and E is worked in six-strand cotton or pearl cotton No. 3.

Designed for "Movie" Dolls - the unnamed but instantly recognizable composition dolls modeled on child star Shirley Temple, whose likeness couldn't be printed on pattern envelopes of this era due to licensing restrictions that predate her name's later official use on 1950s sewing patterns. This pattern was cut across five sizes, 13" through 25", and this copy is a Size 13.
