Circa 1870s Antique Cabinet Card Photograph; Depiction of black African American man driving an ox drawn cart. Identification on image, "15th AMENDMENT". (Reconstruction Amendment which prohibited the government from denying a citizen's right to vote based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude). Photograph is by Havens of Jacksonville, FL. Approximate mount size: 8" x 5". Condition: light surface soiling, occasional dings, scuffs, edge bumps, and foxing spots.
