Original German WWI photo in size of a postcard. It was sent Jun 5 1916 from a soldier of Royal Prussian Ersatz Infantry Regiment #1 10th company. Some translation: "I shall be able to tell you a great deal about this gorge later on—provided I am granted the chance to see my homeland again."
