This historic postcard features a collection of German stamps cancelled at the post office in Rottenacker, a municipality in the district of Alb-Donau in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Key Visual and Historical Details

The Cancellations: Every visible circular postmark clearly reads ROTTENACKER (WÜRTT), referring to the Kingdom/State of Württemberg.
The Date: The postmarks are all uniformly dated 15 FEB 24 (February 15, 1924).
The Hyperinflation Context: The stamps date from the tail end of the infamous German hyperinflation period (which peaked in late 1923). Many stamps show overprints, such as "8 Tausend" (8 thousand) and "100 Tausend" (100 thousand), used as postal rates skyrocketed by the hour before the currency stabilized with the introduction of the Rentenmark.
