BAIRSTOW MANOR COLLECTABLES CHARACTER JUG

Up for sale I have this wonderful Queen Elizabeth II 100th Birthday celebration character jug from Bairstow Manor Pottery in Staffordshire. The jug has been produced with this Elizabeth Tower/Big Ben design handle to celebrate what would have been the late Queen's 100th Birthday on 21st April 2026. The main jug has been produced in an edition of up to 100 pieces but this is a two-tone purple colour trial marked 'Show Special' and is not one of those 100. The purple on the hat is a different shade to that on the coat as often befits a colour trial.

The character jug is approximately 5 inches/13cm high and is brand new. The jug is 1st quality and is fully stamped underneath as a 'show special' (see photo).

 All Manor Pottery jugs are hand made and painted and so minor surface marks, pimples, dimples holes and scratches are not unusual. I examine each one and mention any of these minor points. On this one there is just quite a lot of areas of tiny pimples/roughness in the paint/glaze finish (see photos). Nothing unusual, especially for a trial piece.
