A nice September 27, 1908 4-bar cancel from Bristol, Washington on this humorous chicken postcard that was sent via White Salmon, WA where a "Rec'd." cancel was applied the same day.  Bristol, WA has not had a Post Office since 1912 and is a scarcity "4" postmark type.  Interesting and attractive historic item.  Reasonable condition (stamp missing); sharper than the image may appear.  If the image does not readily appear, please try hitting your computer's reload or refresh button while viewing the item. Successful bidder to pay $1.50 shipping in the US ($2.50 elsewhere); insurance extra if desired.  Questions -- please ask~
