Offered here is a vintage Cyma Watersport chronograph dating to the 1940s, housed in a 38mm stainless steel clamshell case. It features a two-register layout, black hands, Arabic numerals, and a tachymeter scale.

The watch is powered by the Valjoux 22 manual-wind column wheel chronograph movement. The 38mm case is large for the period and wears well by modern standards.

The white dial has developed an even patina over time with spotting and discoloration consistent with age. The black hands contrast nicely against the aged dial, making it easy to read. The Arabic numerals remain clear and the dial printing is well preserved. The stainless steel case shows scratches and normal signs of wear. The case back is numbered 9922-45S. It is fitted with a used brown leather strap.

The movement is running and all chronograph functions operate normally. The service history is unknown. Please note that the chronograph sweep seconds hand resets to approximately the 1 o’clock position rather than exactly to 12. A service is recommended if you intend to wear the watch regularly.
