A Bit of History;

Construction of the Sabine River Works (SRW) plant began at the end of World War II (around 1945–1946), and it pioneered the petrochemical industrialization of the area that would later become locally known as "Chemical Row" in Orange, Texas.

To maintain workforce cohesion amidst massive industrial operations, the company published internal periodicals such as the *Sabine River News*. These bulletins served as an official communication channel for workers and their families.
