Japanese Unown R (アンノーン R), No. 201, Psychic type. CoroCoro Comic promotional card, glossy print, old back.
Poke-Power Reassure: when you play Unown R from your hand, you may remove all damage counters from all of your Pokemon with Unown in their names. Attack: Hidden Power.
This card was distributed as a bonus insert with the November 2000 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on 15 October 2000, and the border text on the card itself confirms it as the November issue bonus card. It is a notable one for Unown collectors: Unown R and Unown J were the only Generation II Unown forms never released in a Neo Series expansion, and Unown R never received a non-Japanese version until EX Unseen Forces years later. Glossy stock, original old-style Pocket Monsters back.
CONDITION: DMG (Damaged). Please read the below in full and study the photos before buying.
CREASES: there are creases through the card. These pass through both sides and are visible from the front as well as the back, particularly when tilted under light.
FRONT: creased as described above, with edge and corner wear.
BACK: scratching to the surface, denting, and whitening along the edges and corners. The creases show through from the front.
This is a damaged card and it is priced low to reflect exactly that. It is not a candidate for grading and it is not one for a high-end collection. What it is, is an affordable route into a genuinely scarce Japanese-only CoroCoro promo for an Unown set builder or a completionist who wants the R form in the binder without paying the money that clean glossy copies command.
Sold as pictured. Photos form part of the description. No returns on the basis of the condition described above, as it has been declared openly. Shipped in a penny sleeve and toploader inside a rigid mailer.
