Authentic antique Norwegian glass fishing float made by Laurvig Glassverk, which operated from 1872 to 1926.
This impressive example features rich dark olive-green glass that becomes a vibrant yellow-green when illuminated. The base carries a bold and substantially complete circular LAURVIG full-name seal—a highly desirable Norwegian maker’s mark.
The hand-blown glass contains numerous tiny bubbles, tool marks and subtle irregularities characteristic of early production.
