Basic functions tested and working. The motor powers on, the platter quickly reaches and holds a stable speed at all three settings (33/45/78 RPM), and the speed adjustment knob responds for fine tuning while the brake engages and stops the platter on shut-off. This unit is set up for 50Hz operation with its 50Hz pulley and platter installed. There are light rubbing marks and small scratches on the control panel, but overall the unit retains a good luster with no prominent damage, and the rubber mat remains soft without hardening. Please note the stroboscope lamp is a 220V type, so it appears slightly dim when used on a 100V/50Hz supply; the included stroboscope disc can be used to check and fine-tune the speed. A transport fixing screw is tightened for shipping and must be loosened before use. Please note: this unit is designed for Japanese AC 100V. A step-down transformer is required for use outside Japan.
